If we plug into your existing system, assessment data flows through your platform. We receive only what's needed to generate feedback (performance, topic, timing) and return the result. Nothing identifying stays with us.
If we build a system for you, the interface, your branding, and your data are yours. The SkillGap intelligence that powers the feedback runs as a service we host and you license, so you never have to maintain our engine yourself.

Payment
Payment that fits your cycle.
Payments are made by international bank transfer or Wise, and invoices can be issued in your preferred currency. The annual per-student license is billed once per year, so there is nothing to meter and no surprise top-ups.
For institutions on fixed budget-release cycles, we're happy to work to a milestone-based payment schedule on custom builds. The scope and schedule are agreed in writing before any work begins, so everyone knows exactly what to expect.

What happens to our data if we stop using SkillGap?
If we're plugged into your system, there's nothing to hand back, since your data was never on our side. If we built a system for you, it's already fully yours. Either way, ending things has zero impact on your data or your students.
Who handles the tax on our payments?
It depends on your country, but in most B2B cases your institution settles any local tax in the normal way and pays us the agreed amount. We provide compliant invoices and the right references for your records, and we'll confirm exactly how it works for your jurisdiction before you sign.
Can a public or state institution buy without a full bidding process?
Often, yes. Many public institutions can purchase proprietary software directly when competitive sourcing isn't practical. We provide the supporting documentation your procurement office needs to take through the proper channels, and we'll tell you what applies in your country.
What documentation can you provide for our finance and legal teams?

How does the licensing term work if we leave early?
The per-student license is an annual term with no multi-year lock-in, so you can cancel at renewal.
